As Captain of a Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Charter aboard The Omni, it is
my job to help you catch Lake Erie Walleye. This will make us all
very happy.
When fishing for Lake Erie Walleye, most of the
time we drift fish (no trolling here) with spinners and night crawlers.
From April to May we use jigs and fish with minnows as we anchor
the boat. Around
mid-May and throughout the remainder of the year we use "The Weapon" or
weight forward spinners. Our best months in fishing are July and
August.
It is important to keep your line tight and
watch the end of your rod to see the bite. If you are an experienced
angler of Lake Erie Walleye, you already know that the fish do not
strike hard. To be successful in catching walleye, your
cast needs to be at the correct angle to the drift of the boat and it is
my job to make this happen.
The most important reasons why you should reserve
your Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Charter with Captain Rich:
- I am out on the Lake almost every day.
I know where the walleye like to move and I follow them
daily.
- My large network of other Lake Erie Walleye
Charter Captains allows me to communicate with other talented
professionals. This is very important to finding feeding Lake
Erie Walleye.
- The Equipment I use is state of the art.
From the boat itself to the rods and reels I provide, you will have
the best chances of coming home with your limit.
