Depending on the type of Lake Erie Fishing Charter you decide to book
with Captain Rich Elgin, some things you might want to bring with you:
- Valid Ohio
Fishing License
- Jacket
- Lunch
- Refreshments (beer is ok!)
- One cooler for food/refreshments
- Sunglasses
- Non-spray sunscreen
- Hat
- Rain gear
- Soft soled shoes (non-black soled, please)
- Camera to take pictures of all of your fish!
- Your own equipment if you prefer.
However, we will provide all the equipment you need. If you do
decide to bring your own equipment, make sure you have new 8# line
on your reel(s).
- A pen to fill out the

catching a Lake Erie Walleye over 28"
- A smile and a great attitude to start the
day!
On the boat, Captain Rich has rods, reels, line,
spinners and all the lures you will need. A cooler with ice is
provided for your catch and fish cleaning is available in town.
